StockApp: The morning list: what changed and what it costs

What it does

Your inventory already knows what is going to happen.

StockApp turns that into a short daily list: what to order, what to move between locations, which delivery to chase, where cash sits on a shelf. Each line says why, with the numbers, and a button that does it.

StockApp: A product's next thirty days and the forecast behind it

A daily list

What to order, move or chase today, ranked by the margin you would lose.

Lead times, measured

Taken from your own receipts, not from a supplier's quote.

Sold-out days corrected

Demand is adjusted for the hours a product could not be bought.

Transfers with a reason

Stock moved between locations, each move showing the margin it protects.

Purchase orders with landed cost, receiving, and stocktakes by phone camera are built in.

Questions

The ones merchants ask before installing StockApp.

Ask something else

Why is the free trial 30 days rather than 14?

A forecast needs a few weeks of your own sales before it is calibrated, and a lead time needs a few deliveries before it is measured. Fourteen days judges the app before it has anything to show you. Thirty gives it a real chance.

What does StockApp read from my store?

Products, inventory levels, locations and orders. It never requests customer data: a sale is a quantity against a product, a location and a date, and no part of the forecast needs to know who bought it.

Does it work with more than one location, or a 3PL?

Yes, at every plan, with no per-location fee. Each location gets its own forecast, transfers between them are suggested with the reason, and a 3PL location is shown as such so nothing is written to it without a confirmation.

Where do the lead times come from?

From your receipts. Each purchase order records when it was placed, when the supplier promised it and when the boxes landed. The buy is sized from the slow end of that spread, not from the number the supplier quoted.

What happens to my history if I sold out for a week?

The sold-out hours are recorded and the forecast is corrected for them. Sales recorded while a product was unbuyable under-forecast your best sellers, which is backwards, and this is the part most tools skip.

Can I bring history from Stocky?

Stocky's API closed on 31 August 2026, so there is no longer a live import. If you exported your purchase order history before it closed, StockApp can read that export and use it to measure your lead times.

Do stocktakes need a barcode scanner?

No. Count on a phone with the camera, on a desktop with a USB scanner, or by typing. Applying a count checks the shelf again first, so a sale made during the count is never recorded as shrinkage.

Will my price change at renewal?

No. The price you install at is the price you keep. There are no annual contracts, no per-location, per-SKU or per-order fees, and no onboarding fee.

What happens when I uninstall?

Your session is removed immediately and everything else 48 hours later, when Shopify sends its data removal request. Nothing is kept.
