Adds Up: Potential exposure at a glance

What it does

Your revenue report tells you what happened.

Adds Up shows you, record by record, where the money doesn't add up. It rebuilds your orders, refunds, inventory and payouts into one reconciled picture, then flags potential exposure with the source records and how sure it is.

Adds Up: One issue with the records behind it

Refunds checked

Refunds without a restock or return, and duplicate or failed refunds.

Your own rules

Discounts, prices and shipping costs that break the rules you set.

Payouts reconciled

Every payout compared with the transactions behind it.

Evidence on every number

The source records, the calculation, and how sure it is.

Read only. No customer names, emails or addresses are stored.

Questions

The ones merchants ask before installing Adds Up.

Ask something else

Does Adds Up change anything in my store?

No. It asks only for read permissions and cannot edit products, orders, inventory, discounts or settings. You decide what to do and do it in Shopify.

Does it store my customers' details?

No. Order records are kept without names, emails, phone numbers or street addresses, only the country and province a parcel shipped to.

Is "potential exposure" money I lost?

Not necessarily. It is what an issue may be worth if it turns out to be a real problem. Every amount is labeled exact, calculated or estimated, with how sure we are, and some issues will turn out to be intentional.

How far back does it look?

The first scan reads the order history Shopify lets the app see, which is the last 60 days unless Shopify grants access to older orders. The app tells you what it covered.

What do the paid plans add?

Live monitoring. New orders and refunds are checked within minutes, and new issues raise an alert in the app. The free plan re-checks your store every 30 days.

What happens when I uninstall?

Your access token is deleted at once and everything else 48 hours later, when Shopify sends its data removal request.
